STUDENTS
Graduate students holding a paid appointment may apply for staff garage permits. A limited number of garage permits are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis during August each year to Graduate Administrative, Research, and Teaching Associates, and those with a current Fellowship appointment. (Current proof of appointment is necessary for purchase).

Graduate and Professional students may also apply for garage permits through a lottery held annually before Autumn Quarter classes begin. A limited number of garage permits are available to Undergraduate students (Ranks 3 & 4) through a lottery held annually before Autumn Quarter classes begin. Once all lotteries have been completed, remaining permits may become available on a first-come, first-serve basis to eligible students. Contact T&P for details and requirements.

If the purchased permit/keycard is not available at the time of entry or exit, the garage fee must be paid, regardless of permit type.

FACULTY AND STAFF
Faculty & Staff with “A” permits may park in any garage without payment of the hourly fee by using their permit, except designated patient and visitor garages in the Medical Center.

Classified Civil Service Staff may apply for “BG” garage permits. Limited garage permits are sold on the basis of seniority to staff who apply. For more information on application deadline dates, call 292-9341.

For all keycard holders visiting the Medical Center as a patient or visitor, you may use the designated patient and visitor garages, however hourly fees must be paid. Abuse of patient and visitor parking may result in fines and could result in a loss of campus parking privileges.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Parking is available in the Ohio Union Garage for events held at the Wexner Center. For most events, an attendant collects a $5.00 special event parking fee ($10.00 during a football game) from visitors at the entrance of the garage. OSU permit holders who bring their current OSU parking permit may park for no additional charge. The exit gates are opened at the end of an event to expedite outbound traffic. Other events may be scheduled and parking designated as appropriate.
