CONSTRUCTION UPDATES
- Maps showing campus construction projects that may affect parking and traveling are posted in Bevis Hall.
- Information about construction projects and special events are also available on a listserver. To subscribe to this service, address an e-mail message to: listserver@lists.acs.ohio-state.edu. In the message portion of the e-mail, type: “subscribe archconst YourFirstName YourLastName.”
- Questions regarding construction on campus may be e-mailed to constructionquestion@osu.edu.
SPECIAL EVENTS INFORMATION
University and Schottenstein event calendars are available on the World Wide Web:
Competing needs for parking facilities exist with special events (i.e. concerts, department programs, athletic events, etc.) scheduled throughout the week at various times. Transportation & Parking Services continues to work with event organizers to provide the most convenient parking for event participants, with minimal inconvenience to OSU permit holders. If you are hosting an event, please let us know. For events in the Ohio Union, at the Wexner Center, or any location that may need garage special event parking, please call 292-7383. For all other campus events, please call 292-8371.

OUTREACH SERVICES
Transportation & Parking Services Outreach area provides several opportunities for University departments and organizations to learn about parking and traveling on campus. We’ll be happy to attend your new student and employee orientations, meetings, and events. Groups of 25 or more may request an orientation session and/or parking permits be sold on-site. For more information, please call 292-9630. We will schedule a convenient time to talk with your group.
MOTORIST ASSISTANCE
On-campus assistance is available if your car needs a jump-start, if you lock your keys inside your car, or if you have a low tire and need air. If you run out of fuel, we will provide a gallon of gas for you to drive to the nearest station. The following information will be helpful when using the service:
- Let the dispatcher know the make, model, color, and location of vehicle requiring assistance.
- Raise the hood and stay with your vehicle until assistance arrives.
- In instances where the hood of the vehicle cannot be raised (i.e., lockouts), stay with vehicle and watch for assistance to arrive.
- Prior to any services being completed, you will be required to sign a service waiver.
- For safety reasons, please note that all motorist assistance calls will be responded to by red and white vehicles marked “Traffic & Parking Services” or an OSU Police cruiser.
Please note: Hours of service and availability vary. No weekend or holiday assistance is available.
